We specialize in trucking and transloading throughout Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire. Our transloading originates from both the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach and is handled at our state-of the-art facility in City of Industry.

Humble Beginnings for DeWitt Moving Business
The DeWitt family moving business got its start when Robert DeWitt would meet families at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles and offer to help truck their belongings to their new homes in nearby Pasadena.
Establishment of Leading Moving Association
Woody DeWitt, son of Robert, grows to become an influential leader in the moving industry and helps establish the Household Goods Forwarders Association of America, now called the International Association of Movers (IAM).
Royal Hawaiian Movers Opens in Oahu
Woody DeWitt and his son, Richard, open their doors in Hawaii. The small warehouse location they take over in Honolulu on Ualena Street is the site of a former tennis academy.
DeWitt Guam Opens
Seeing an opportunity to serve the Guam market, Richard DeWitt opens his doors in the commercial port at Cabras Island in the village of Piti.
Approved Freight Forwarders Opens
Seeing an opportunity to serve the Guam market, Approved opens a small operation in the Pacific, which soon grows into a Top 100 3PL that primarily serves Hawaii.
DeWitt Move Worldwide Opens
Late founder Richard DeWitt opens DeWitt Move Worldwide in San Diego, Calif., where it soon will grow into an international operation serving more than 100 countries.
Woody DeWitt Enters Hall
For his years and dedication to the moving industry, Woody DeWitt is inducted into International Association of Movers’ Hall of Honor.
Royal Alaskan Movers Opens
Based in Anchorage, the company provides northbound, southbound and local and bush moves. The company also provides moving services for oversized and medical device equipment.
Richard DeWitt Enters Hall
Following in his father’s footsteps, Richard DeWitt is inducted into International Association of Movers’ Hall of Honor.
Expansion into Government Service
DeWitt Move Worldwide begins providing services to the General Services Administration (GSA) and the U.S. Department of State.
Approved Celebrates 5 Years Accident-Free
Safety being one of its key core values, Approved celebrates five years without a lost-time accident or injury. It’s a significant milestone considering the transportation and warehousing industry reported more than four workplace injuries per 100 workers occurred in 2018.
